Nokia is thinking hard how so they can re-assert their existence as a number one mobile phone maker company in the world.

For as is known, this Finnish vendor has continued to lose market quickly eroded. From the results of a recent survey of YuGov even mentioned that only 34 percent of people who choose Nokia as smart phones, it decreased by 2 percent in December 2009.

Nokia does have a big expectation on Nokia N8 which is a smart phone with OS Symbian ^ 3, let alone with 3 Bluetooth support, HDMI and HSDPA internet access 10.2Mbps. But some observers thought that it was not enough.

Meanwhile, the step taken by Nokia is that by stopping the OS Symbian in its N series, it can be a good start to become a mobile phone with more variety, including MeeGo.

Aware of the positions that cannot compete with the Symbian operating system such as the OS iPhone and Android, Nokia surprisingly would stop using the operating system that has been used by this company.

However, Symbian will remain embedded in Nokia’s mobile phone. But the OS that has been accompanying Nokia for 12 years will be more focused to the middle-lower market.
